Mental Health Promotion Research Team

Dr Jane Burns holds a joint appointment as a VicHealth, Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and as Director of International Partnerships, Research, Policy and Practice.  This appointment looks to build on international mental health research and its translation into policy and practice designed to promote better mental health for all young Australians.

 

Michelle Blanchard holds a joint appointment as a Research Project Manager at the Inspire Foundation and is a PhD Candidate at Orygen.  Michelle's doctoral research focuses on understanding how professionals who work with young people use information communication technology in their practice with young people.

 

Dr Kaveh Monshat has also recently commenced doctoral studies at Orygen investigating the potential to conduct mindfulness training online as a mechanism for improving young people's mental health and wellbeing.

 

Olivia Whitty and Marianne Webb from the Inspire Foundation's Melbourne Team are also co-located at Orygen Youth Health.
